The silver dial is at its core based on a classic sector dial design. In the center of the dial is a machine tooled Guilloché 'Circle of Life' pattern. A contrasting frosted texture is used on the outer circle and marked with 5 sided applied indices. The indices are hand polished to accentuate the multi angles of the steel. Central to the watch is a set of heated blue steel hands. The plume shaped hands are hand finished and its natural blue color achieved through a heating process. Steel fired under heat turns blue right before it turns black. In order to achieve this blue consistent color on the steel, the hands are heated and lifted off a heat source right before it turns black.
